Turn strong ideas and loops into complete, compelling tracks.
Arrangements is for producers who can make strong sections, but want to turn them into full tracks with momentum, variation, and flow.
You’ll learn how to structure intros, builds, breakdowns, drops, and transitions — then apply those techniques directly to your own projects in Ableton Live.
Classes focus on practical arrangement decisions, while mentor weeks help you develop and finish your own tracks with personal guidance from an experienced producer.

Who This Module Is For
This module is for producers who can create compelling loops and sections, but struggle to turn them into complete tracks. You should be comfortable in Ableton Live, have solid sound design and theory foundations, and ideally have two or more projects underway that are ready to develop into full arrangements.
If you’ve completed Liveschool’s Foundations, Music Theory, and Sound Design modules (all included in Produce Music), you’re well prepared. If you’re coming from outside Liveschool, get in touch and we’ll help you assess the right starting point.
FAQs
To enrol in Arrangements, you should meet one of the following criteria:
- Completion of the Foundations, Music Theory, and Sound Design modules (all included in Produce Music or Focus Series).
- Equivalent Ableton Live, sound design, and music theory skills, plus at least two projects underway and ready to develop to completion.
This module is ideal for producers who already have strong ideas, but want to consistently turn them into complete arrangements. If you’re unsure, get in touch and we’ll help you assess whether this is the right starting point.
Just two things are required:
- A copy of Ableton Live Suite. If you’ve been sharing a licence, you can access a free 30-day trial to get started, and when you’re ready to purchase, you’ll receive a 50% discount.
- A standard pair of wired headphones (not Bluetooth-only).
A laptop is useful, but if you only have a desktop, we can provide a laptop on-site.
We offer flexible options:
- Switch to an online session if you can’t attend in person.
- Access detailed study resources at home if you miss a session. Discounted one-to-one catch-up sessions are also available.
- If you miss the full module, you can join a waitlist to retake it later.
You can take Arrangements either as a stand-alone module or as part of Produce Music or the Focus Series. The core teaching and mentorship are the same either way.
Most students develop two or more existing projects into completed arrangements. The module is built around your own music, so you’ll be working on tracks you care about — not generic exercises.
You’ll be able to take a promising loop or section and develop it into a complete track with stronger flow, variation, transitions, and energy. Most students leave with a clearer finishing workflow they use across all future projects.
